Two Streams:

  • Community representatives of synergy groups
    • How to be a more effective participant in industry and government consultation processes in industry and government consultation processes
  • Industry representatives of synergy groups
    • Business case for building positive relations

    Presented by Kerry Brown, Karla Reesor & Gay Robinson

    The Synergy Institute will focus on Community and Industry working together. The morning will include separate interactive workshops for community and industry. The community session will focus on how to be a more effective participant in industry and government consultation processes and the industry session will focus on the business case for building positive relations with the community.

    In the afternoon the two groups will come together to explore a shared vision for community / industry / government cooperation, while acknowledging the barriers and challenges to positive relations. Through the course of this session, attendees will work collaboratively to create a list of desired outcomes of a successful Synergy approach.
