Crystal Cassidy
ERCB
Crystal Cassidy is a 28-year ERCB employee and, during that time has gained width and breadth of experience from across the organization.
She has worked in the former Oil Department analyzing and recording bottom hole pressure surveys, then the Development Department verifying production measurement, then a field inspector, an emergency responder and, most recently, Team Leader in the Community and Aboriginal Relations (CAR) Group.
Crystal was educated at SAIT in production measurement accounting and petroleum technology and is a long-standing member of ASET (Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta).
Crystal's credentials also include achieving accreditation in public participation from the prestigious International Association of Public Participation (IAP2).
Not only is Crystal passionate about the work of the ERCB to protect public interest, she also continuously works towards educating the public and industry.
She has been characterized as a good listener and a champion for regulatory enhancements and change.
Crystal recently joined the Synergy Alberta Board of Directors and is really enjoying this new challenge.
